Tminta

Tminta is an online platform for freelancers and self employed offering a service in Malta to who have no means and/or resources to advertise it. We analysed that individuals aiming to start gaining traction within the service providers community relied heavily on reviews on social media platforms or by word-of-mouth advertising in the comment sections of a FB groups. This is because the expenses that go into ads, creating a website and promoting your work may cause a financial strain that disheartens anyone who is looking into monetising a hobby or talent. This proves to be a big barrier for local talent. With Tminta, they have somewhere to start, by listing their services and getting discovered by potential customers. On the other end of the market, we identified that people finding themselves in need of any type of service do not really have anywhere to look, and have to resort to asking questions on Facebook groups. With Tminta, one can quickly find the person they’re looking for without having to go asking around. Listings can be edited and managed by service providers, they can upload pictures of their work, and link to their own social media pages and websites. Service providers can view analytics to see how many people land on their listing, using which type of device and browsers. The platform also has a direct messaging system where potential customers can chat with service providers directly.
