The Lighthouse Restaurant Lounge & Giftshop

The Lighthouse in Cayman is an iconic restaurant with stunning views over the water and an outstanding menu that features a creative mix of fresh, local seafood and Italian cuisine. Charismatic owner Giuseppe Gatta ensures the food is cooked to perfection, stocks an impressive wine cellar and never fails to make you feel like one of the family.
 The lighthouse restaurant sits in a beautiful oceanfront location near Boddentown. The decor is very nice and on the day I was there the windows were open and very nice breeze was blowing through the dining area. I did see outdoor dock seating, but on this particular day there was no one seated outside. I ordered a pizza with italian sausage, onions, and green peppers. It was advertised as wood fired and the flavor and crust were very good, particularly the flavor of the sausage. My dining companion ordered the daily special which consisted of penne pasta with a marinara sauce that was described as very flavorful. I would definitely go back to this restaurant again.
