An intervention is an attempt by family and friends to get someone to seek professional help with an addiction or other serious problem. Normally an Intervention is needed when a loved one absolutely refuses to get help. We can also help the family move in the right direction with sober coaching sessions to avoid an Intervention. An Intervention is sometimes a last-ditch effort to help our loved one.
