Talent of Over Shooting the Budgets… Who Cares?
We, the Interior Designers arernnotoriously known for over shooting the budgets and endless projects. On thisrnbudget day, having spent 20 years in Interior Designing, I am just out of myrnprofessional introspection.
Sometimes, I think, we the interior designers are naturally talented tornover shoot our own assured budgets and timelines.
With plethora of design options,rninnovative materials, new age construction patterns have made our profession sorninteresting like, never it was.
Interior Designers have to deal withrncustomers’ demand on utility oriented,rnspace-efficient and aestheticallyrnpleasing designs with overall perspective of ambiance. Our job is notrnlimited to creating an object, but is extended to designing a solution tornovercome challenges and satisfy different generations in same family.
Commercial interior designing is now about designing solutions forrnprofessional hazards, sedentary lifestyles, gender needs, and internalrnbranding.
Residential interior designing is now about designing solutions forrnnuclear families, working couples, monitoring lonely children, single parents,rnmodern cooking practices, health practices and smart electronics.
I believe that it is the time ourrnfraternity braces up to learn technologies which are not obviously related torninterior designing.
At Scope Interior, it is our impeccable record of completing projectsrnon time and in budget. Visualization technologies have made our jobs easy. I amrnso excited with these futuristic technologies pertaining to smart homes,rninternet of things (IOT) and green initiatives in home / office designing.
With this note, on budget day. I amrnwriting my first “Mann ki Baat“.rnNext time I will come up with an interesting development in the field ofrninterior decor.
