Gwangju City Corporation defeats Samcheok City Hall with 11 goals in Seoaru to end losing streak

Gwangju City Corporation's Seo Aru scored 11 goals to sink Samcheok City Hall.

After a goal drought in their last two games, Gwangju City Corporation unleashed an uncharacteristically lively offense, scoring 30 goals, with Seo Aru leading the way.

Gwangju City Corporation defeated defending champion Samcheok City Hall 30-27 in the second round of the Shinhan SOL Pay 23-24 Handball H League Women's Division on Sunday at Busan Gijang Gymnasium in Gijang-gun, Busan, South Korea.

With the win, Gwangju City Corporation moved up to sixth place with three wins, one draw and four losses and seven points, while Samcheok City Hall, which was riding a two-game winning streak, remained in fourth place with four wins, one draw and two losses and nine points.

Seo Aru scored goals from the wing, 7 meters out, mid-range shots, and fast breaks. He was all over the place, leading Gwangju's offense.
