In case of low oestrogen levels the hypothalamus is stimulated to synthesize gonadotrophins which releases two hormones from the pituitary gland (hormone control centre in the brain) one is FSH (follicle stimulating hormone) and second hormone is LH (luteinizing hormone) which are vital for ovulation and proper functioning by stimulating the egg follicle’s growth and maturation in the ovaries.
